About the practice

The team at Bradley Stoke set out to provide high quality care to all patients and are at home in a bright, airy practice that is also comfortable and welcoming.

Bradley Stoke works with Cluster 2 in South Gloucestershire.

The practice offers a mixture of same-day appointments with a GP or ANP and pre-bookable appointments with a GP.

Bradley Stoke Surgery also offers minor injury, in-house mental health, in-house clinical pharmacist, health checks, stop smoking service and sexual health clinics.

The practice has opportunities for part-time working and flexible hours, where appropriate and agreed.

Bradley Stoke also offers paid maternity, paternity and adoption leave, and operates a childcare voucher scheme.

Learning and development

All staff can benefit from a range of training and development initiatives from full induction through to Buddy scheme, Mentoring scheme and a range of social events designed to help the team work better together.

The practice offers a mix of paid leave for courses, practice funding for approved training and development, study leave and specialist training for staff groups, e.g. admin and reception teams.

New recruits spend time with the HR Manager, IT & Data Administrator, their Team Supervisor/Leader and with team members to learn their new role in the Practice.

Both clinical Teams (GPs & Nurses) have their own meetings and practice-wide clinical meeting to discuss issues and cases, which provide learning points.

There is also a Practice Significant Event & Complaints meeting for all clinicians and management.

80% of the patient population are less than 50 years of age.
