Healthcare Assistant – Hartwood Healthcare

We are looking for a Healthcare assistant to join our friendly, and supportive nursing team to provide great care for our 8400 patients. Hours 12 and salary dependent on experience.

Working under supervision of our Practice Nurses and in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols, the post-holder will be responsible for performing a range of procedures and health-checks for patients, dependent upon competency and training.

These may include: phlebotomy, injections, blood pressure monitoring, simple dressings and ECGs. The role will also include administrative elements such as fridge checking, ordering supplies etc. The role is varied, interesting and allows relationships to be built with regular patients.

This role requires an enthusiastic and self-motivated person, with excellent communication and IT skills along with a willingness to learn new skills and a caring attitude.
