Partner / Associate GPs - Horfield Health Centre

You are committed to general practice, and can understand the benefits (for both the patients and you) of personal lists and thereby continuity of care. You enjoy working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and would like to join a practice where patients feel “listened to*” which provides “courteous and efficient service*” and which goes “above and beyond to provide great services to…… all its patients*”. Due to retirement and changes in family circumstances, we are pleased to share vacancies for a GP Partner (one permanent role) and 2 Associate GPs (one permanent role and one fixed-term maternity cover, with a potential to become permanent). If you are someone who wants to: • Get to know your patients so you can provide the best possible care • Be an active part of the effective running of the practice • Benefit from a well-established multi-disciplinary team including pharmacists, first contact physios, health and wellbeing coaches and social prescribers • Contribute to a high-functioning PCN that is making a real difference to the services we provide to patients, and is just about to welcome another practice; and • Be part of a practice where the staff wellbeing committee has arranged a full advent calendar of events throughout December for all the staff to enjoy and all GPs meet every day at 12.15pm then maybe one of these positions is for you? For the GP Partner role, we will consider between 4-6 sessions. For the Associate GP roles, we will also consider 4-6 sessions. For the Associate GP positions, we offer the chance to prepare for future career progression by: attending partners and practice executive meetings; taking on a shadow lead role with a partner; having one-to-one coaching sessions with the practice manager around practice finance and practice strategy; and more. For all of the positions, there may also be an opportunity to participate in the extensive medical student teaching programme we run. Overall, we would like to recruit 16 or 17 sessions between the 3 positions. All roles are subject to a 6 month probation period.
